🚨WinUtil EMERGENCY 🚨 Defender False Flag!
Linux is always secure compared to WINDOWS. The security holes are the browsers and any other software that connects to the internet.
Everyone can use Linux sucker
I did LFS/BLFS half dozen of times ten years ago - great experience, no VMs involved just my physical computer, I did it on a partition I dedicated for this in my then current Linux system and I then booted from there when ready - then build the BLFS part, it was very fun but It took a long time (I remember building QT for example took many hours) - most of this knowledge took me to the next level
Bazzite link not working..not even the github link work....
Any person that still uses opera just stop if u still like the opera interface use Vivaldi its much more privacy based and it made by the co-founder of Opera when they got bought by a Chinese company
9:34 Doesn't line 37 only check if curl exists?
Recently got an N100 mini PC with built-in WiFi/Bluetooth and wanted to install Debian on it since Ubuntu tried to trick me into using the snap store last time. But the latest stable Debian didn't have the drivers for WiFi, so I had to go back to using Ubuntu server LTS (and start by uninstalling snapd).
I know this is old, but wanted to share my thought. Bodhi Linux is the one I think you missed. Definitely Potato Tier. It fills an important niche, in my opinion. Potato Desktop. It just works on that freezing edge where you know the hardware is capable of computing but it's so far behind the times. tl;dr for Bodhi: based on Ubuntu LTS; they develop their own DE fork of Enlightenment; minimal base system; good software availability; they write utilities in C, bash, and Python.unique utilities are written in either C or Python. All I'm saying is the several times I needed a desktop spin to run on a potato, Bodhi worked better enough than Peppermint that I think it's notable. And to be fair, if you want a small modern system, it scales impressively well. Project awareness is very low, but they're there doing their own thing and doing it well. It would have been interesting to hear your take.
Void.
Nice stream man!
Another niche distro is Ubuntu Kylin, a Chinese flavour of Ubuntu with its own desktop environment that is a clone of Windows 7/10. It is meant from the China market but can be installed in English. Personally, as a long time Windows user, I prefer Linux Mint, but Ubuntu Kylin may for the niche for those Chinese users who really like Windows. It even comes with solitaire and minesweeper. I wonder if it also spies on you like Windows does.
Another good distro for new users and lower spec hardware is Xubuntu, which is Xfce Ubuntu, but Linux Mint Xfce edition is better as it strips out snaps.
Zorin is pointless. The reason you need support for it is it does not work well. I am a new user, I tried it. Mint is much better.
If it's something I've learnt in my time fookin around with passthrough, it's not really worth it in two cases. If you've too good hardware , if you've too shite hardware There are obviously cases where only passthrough is a way but the number of variables passthrough can introduce sometimes , can be an abomination. That being said , the technique in itself is amazing and the community's work on it is just staggering to the point where setting up a fully isolated Win10 VM with full passthrough can be done in just a few clicks and commands at this point of time.
soooo alpine is user friendly arch linux? COOL!
I have used Linux, off and on, for over 20 years. Linux will NEVER be Windows. If you are saying that someone will make a distro that is controlled by a "group" and it is centralized tot the point, they control your system, then with all due respect, you are wrong. Linux IS NOT designed to be controlled by a corporation. What you say is a hard pass for me. I am on a System76 laptop. They are a small company and believe in user control.
If you really care about microphone performance hand down the best you can get is the Aston Stealth You will not regret it... those other are good but The Stealth is the best.. and I own most of or have own those other Mics..
this tierlist is so damn elitist. At this point might as well do Linux from scratch huh?
4 mins of my life that will never get back…

Librewolf is peak browser. We need it for android tho... Thank god it is available on windows too cause i cant use linux cause my vr wont work in there.
@TitusTechTalk could you please do a script with how you set up your android build environment setup for building custom Android roms😊
I know this is a year old, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get polkit running on Nixos with sway. I followed along and cant seem to get it to work.
I have used LFS for years with a little distcc compiler farm and really loved it. When AMD introduced the Athlon 64, I wanted to switch to 64 Bit, but there were too many problems. So I tried Gentoo and stuck with it ever since.
now do it IN scratch.
Does this video cover removing copilot?

Is there a performance difference between say, an RPM install or a snap of the same app? I'm trying to clean up my system as i'm new and I just kind of threw a bunch of install commands and downloaded crap from all over in a disorganized fashion. I would like some continuity in the system for example I don't even know how I installed steam, it works but it doesn't show as an installed program in my discovery store. Is this something I should even be concerned about?
Debian for me
Debian and Linux Mint for me
Nothing but respect for the Hyprland maintainer. As you say the people that came scold him acted like trolls, so he is not gonna cave for bullies like that. If you come complain about "toxic community" blah blah blah, I immediately disregard your opinion
I'd rather wait until the Winter ❄️
Nixos

I wouldn't put it on Arch, because the idea of the distro to be as up to date and bleeding edge as possible, so wouldn't ask this from them. But it would be awesome if distros forked off Arch, besides Manjaro, took some months with the packages to check they're all good before an update. In this sense, you are still updated, like Windows is (sort of) but arch distros would have even more reason to exist besides making it "ez" to get into arch for noobs like me. But when it comes to community, I did see that Arch forums are filled with people that love being dicks. EndeavourOS (or Manjaro) could be a much more comfortable adventure for a new user that would like to get into Arch. What new users need to understand however, is that no matter where you go, you need to look up and read guides or wikis. It's a learning process, no matter how easy or hard you want to go with it.
Can you add something to change the hz on the monitor?
Nerds talking about privacy yet using UA-cam…. 💀 lmao yall jokes
3cx is ok. Thirdlane is another very good option, especially for MSPs
I don''t see the need to rice a window manager that you shouldn't see but once every 3 to 6 months.
you know it's serious when the wife beater is worn.
At the end of the day if you are on Arch, do regular backups weekly, daily and on every package update. This safety net is more than enough. Also, don't update every other day. Once a week or two is good. Heck even a month. Update when you know if something break you can at least spend 10mins rolling back 😊
will this script also support linux mint ?
Agree with you on distros. Arch or Debian👍. What you have figured out on DaVinci is great!
Titus ¿cómo puedo hacer undervolting con gpu de nvidia en linux tenia instalado endeavours ?
Interesting
Maybe add a termux support to linux-setup?
ooooh tank top titus 😂 that was treat
Need a CPU GPU HDD monitor (included health of hdd or sdd, temps and all other things which are required to monitor for safe side) widget or something please add it
Just install Bottom, Such a clear and easy to use hardware monitor. Just install like you would do with your other apps. Use btm in your terminal to activate it. You can even use your mouse/trackpad
@@ernestoditerribile okay. I don't know about it and I will try it. thanks for your suggestion
